Let’s see what happened to these contracts during the 2020-2021 pandemic years.
They have received a total of ALL 4.8 billion or about 40 million euros according to the Health Care Fund. Despite the emergency caused by the pandemic, the Ministry of Health announced that the concession contracts for sterilization of surgical instruments and hemodialysis would continue to function normally. Meanwhile, the concession for basic health control, known as check-up, was temporarily suspended, activating the contractual clause of the so-called “force majeure”.
But despite the suspension of the contract, in the first 4 months of 2020, the concession company of basic health control, transferred 352 million ALL from the state budget. Many that liquidated the controls carried out in the last two months of 2019.

Referring to the audit, in total from these payments are evidenced 2127 cases in the amount of ALL 3.9 million, which were paid for incomplete service. According to the calculations performed, the payments of DIFKSH for unfinished work from 2015 to 2019 to the company in question amount to 930 million ALL or 7.6 million euros.
Similar to the check-up concession, payments for services not provided are also found for the hemodialysis concession. According to KLSH, during 2020 there are 3654 unrealized dialysis sessions, for which the company has been paid from public funds.
