White Spahia: At the end of this race full of strong emotions, I want to express my deep respect and gratitude to every fellow citizen who trusts me with a vote to lead the Municipality of Shkodra, in this year mandate!
It was that extraordinary union of missionary hearts, which inspired day by day the hope for change, bringing our common victory to our Shkodra.
I feel every supportive vote on March 6 as a strong responsibility, as a will to meet the hopes of my fellow citizens, to make Shkodra a place where one can live well, with work and dignity.
And we will do the same with those who did not vote for me, because as I said during the campaign, we all have Shkodra together. It is our pride!
This victory is a clear expression of confidence in the change that started in Shkodra and will continue in the rest of Albania.
It is the clearest evidence that freedom is a non-negotiable value and resistance to evil remains a mission, inherited in Shkodra.
It was not an easy battle, in the face of a regime that has seized every power. This was directly proved by each of the candidates of the real opposition, the “House of Freedom”. Moreover, it was a race that took place in unusual conditions, not at all desirable for the Democratic Party, with the path of which I grew up and formed. But the motivation was high, as was the spirit created by the Democratic Party Re-establishment movement and the coalition that represented it in this election, the House of Freedom. Gratitude for the support and commitment for this victory!
This victory showed us that we are the majority on the right track! The union of free people generates spirit and is a guarantee of victory. Shkodra gave this lesson of democracy, therefore the door is open for the return of all those who still find themselves in the values of freedom, choice and merit, but also of anyone else who wants to join us in these principles.
A special thanks goes to my campaign team, the young people with explosive energy, who have never surrendered to me, in the multi-year battles for the Democratic Party, who worked hard for the March 6 victory! You are the best!
To my family, my wife, my children, my mother, my brothers and sisters, I am grateful and indebted to you as always, from the first day I entered politics. I am very lucky to have you!
Now is the time to work, in the interest of Shkodra and its inhabitants!
