The General Assembly of the Albanian Football Federation will take place on Wednesday with changes regarding the agenda approved by the Executive Committee in January.
Previously planned as a general election assembly where governing bodies such as the president and members of the Executive Committee will be elected, after the recent events and the noise created by various lawsuits in the Tirana court, there will be another required agenda also by the current president of FSHF Armand Dukas.
Through an open letter on his social networks, the number 1 of Albanian football has indicated that in full respect of the court request for the recently filed lawsuits, including the one for the Tirana Regional Football Association, will request the assembly to postpone the decision of the Executive Committee on the point of election of the governing bodies for president and the Executive Committee.
At the end of his public statement, Mr. Duka emphasizes that this period of postponement for another date, to serve the regular statutory process and all candidates to unveil their platforms in front of the football community.
In the race for president of the Albanian Football Federation for this term will be three candidates, the current president Armand Duka, journalist Dritan Shakohoxha and former coach Sulejman Starova.
