Services of the Police Commissariat no. 1, following the work to crack down on illegality, after a thorough investigative work of several days, successfully organized and finalized the police operation codenamed “Oktan”.
As part of this operation, the citizen EJ, 28 years old, was arrested and detained for the criminal offenses “Destruction of property by fire”, “Unauthorized production, possession, purchase or sale of cold steel” and “Unauthorized production and possession of cold steel” of hunting and sporting weapons ”.
Based on the evidence gathered by the specialists for the Investigation of Crimes in the Police Commissariat no. 1 it turned out that this citizen, on 25.03.2022, threw a bottle, suspected of fuel, under a vehicle owned by UKT in the Municipality of Tirana.
During the physical search and the apartment of the citizen EJ, the Police services found and seized as material evidence a cutting tool (knife), clothing that is suspected to have been used during the commission of the criminal offense, a plastic bottle filled with gasoline, a rifle sports (marine), a bicycle and two mobile phones.
The materials were forwarded to the Prosecution at the Tirana Court of First Instance, for further procedural actions.
