An event which in our country would usually cause laughter for one and regret for another, seems to cost a 30-year-old Albanian dearly.
There was a video posted on the social network Tik Tok, where the 30-year-old is seen feeding a cat and as soon as she approaches, he kicks her and throws her into the sea.
He then tries to do the same with another cat that was in the tavern he was having lunch with his friends.
That was enough for the Greek Minister of Civil Defense to react immediately and the 30-year-old to be arrested and held in the police region in Oedipus and sent to court on Tuesday morning for security measures.
For their fun he kicks the animal and throws it into the sea. Nobody stops him, everyone laughs. But he forgot that it is now a crime and is punishable by up to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to 50,000 euros.

The incident provoked numerous reactions, while the perpetrator initially apologized for the gesture, but later through a video on social networks offended his critics and said that he was drunk at the time he committed the act, but that he had not done anything wrong. It was all a joke he declared. I was drunk and you do not have to denounce me.

Greek media say the 30-year-old, whose name has not been made public at the moment, has been convicted of drug trafficking and is a narcotics user.
Greece has tightened laws on animal rape, classifying the offense as a serious crime punishable by 5 years in prison and a 50,000-euro fine.
