During the police operation codenamed “Cloned key”, citizens Eriseld Polisi, Elvir Sulce and Luigj Totokocopullo were arrested in flagrante delicto.
They stole vehicles using cloned keys, where one of them with the security measure “Home arrest”, while their two accomplices are declared wanted.
Three cases of vehicle theft have been uncovered and documented, using cloned keys.
A suspected stolen vehicle, stolen license plates, a Kalashnikov assault rifle, a rubber truncheon, a police radio and a vehicle that the perpetrators allegedly used during the thefts were seized.
Eriseld Police were handcuffed. 35 years old, resident in Tirana, for the criminal offense “Theft” committed in collaboration;
Elvir Sulce, 39 years old, resident in Tirana, for the criminal offenses “Theft” committed in collaboration and “Removal of a prisoner from his place of residence”;
Luigj Totokocopullo, 30 years old, resident in Tirana, for the criminal offenses “Illegal possession and production of weapons, explosives and ammunition” and “Unlawful possession of a uniform”.
Also, their accomplices, citizens YK, 54 years old and KS, 36 years old, both residents of Tirana, have been declared wanted for the criminal offense “Theft” committed in collaboration.
Investigations have shown that these citizens, in cooperation with each other, during the last year and this year, through cloned keys, have stolen vehicles in different areas of Tirana, which they then sold in the area of Fushë Krujë and Mamurras.
Following the actions, during the control exercised in a subject owned by the citizen LT, the Police services have found the suspected stolen license plates, a rubber stick, a police radio and car keys.
Also, during the search of a vehicle parked in this subject, a Kalashnikov firearm, comb and ammunition were found.
According to the police, the materials were forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Tirana Judicial District Court, for further procedural actions.
