Police have arrested a 17-year-old while his two accomplices have been declared wanted, after they were caught transporting 3 illegal immigrants.
The young man identified as AS, resident in Morina, Kukës has been handcuffed while his associates GM, 18 years old and LT, 21 years old, both residents of Kukës have been declared wanted.
They were caught red-handed by the Police services, on the Tirana-Vora road, transporting in a vehicle the emigrants from Tirana in the direction of Kukës, in order to cross to Kosovo while they were destined for EU countries.
Their arrest was made in the framework of the police operation codenamed “Transit 3”. Meanwhile, 3 emigrants have been prosecuted for “Illegal border crossing”.
The materials were forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Tirana Judicial District Court, for further action.
