Two people, owners of premises in the area of Astiri in Tirana, have been arrested by the police in the framework of the operation codenamed “Last Game”, for illegal activity in the field of gambling.
In a notification of the Tirana police, it is learned that the officers of the police station no. 6, after the information received in the police, that two citizens in cooperation with each other, had adapted the premises owned by them, for the practice of gambling.
As a result of this operation, the following citizens were handcuffed: FZ, 31 years old, owner of a restaurant on “Loni Ligori” street and BS, 21 years old, owner of a restaurant on “Teodor Keko” street, both residents of Tirana.
“These citizens had adapted the premises of the premises owned by them, for the practice of gambling, and in cooperation with each other, through a distribution system through mobile devices, exchanged addresses that served for illegal lotteries”, he announced police.
As material evidence, two mobile phones suspected of being used for gambling activity were seized.
The procedural materials were forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance in Tirana, for further actions, for the criminal offenses “Organization of illegal lotteries”, “Making available premises for illegal games” and “Concealment of income”.
