Two citizens were arrested this Tuesday in Lezha for cultivating narcotics.
The 34-year-old with the initials AS was found at home with 230 suspected cannabis sativa seedlings, which were cultivated in cubes.
The 24-year-old with the initials ML was also detained after he found a quantity of cannabis in the warehouse near the apartment.

Specialists of the Crime Investigation Section of the Lezha Police Commissariat, following successive operations to crack down on criminal activity in the field of narcotics, have organized and finalized the police operation codenamed “Blinisht”.
As a result of this operation, a case of attempting to cultivate narcotic plants was hit. For this case, the citizen AS, 34 years old, resident in Blinisht, Lezha, was arrested in flagrante delicto, for the criminal offense “Cultivation of narcotic plants”, because during the control exercised in the territory near his apartment, the Police services found and seized 230 suspected narcotic cannabis sativa seedlings, which were cultivated in the cube.
Also, during this operation, the citizen ML, 24 years old, resident in Blinisht, was arrested in flagrante delicto, for the criminal offense “Production and sale of narcotics”, because during the control exercised in the warehouse near his apartment, the Police services found and seized in the quality of material evidence an amount of suspected narcotic substance cannabis sativa.
The procedural materials were forwarded to the Prosecution at the Lezha Judicial District Court, for further actions.
