The coded police operation “Flagranca” is finalized, for the crackdown on criminal activity in the field of illegal weapons possession.
The operation, carried out by the Special Force “Shqiponja” in cooperation with Police Station No. 1 and Police Station No. 4.
Two citizens are put in handcuffs, another is prosecuted.
Two pistol firearms, a Kalashnikov firearm, combs, ammunition and a pair of binoculars were seized.
The services of the Special Force “Eagle” in cooperation with the services of Police Station No. 1 and the services of Police Station No. 4, following the work to prevent and combat criminal activity in the field of illegal possession of weapons, based on the information received during the operation, they have successfully organized and finalized the coded police operation “Flagranca”.
As a result of this operation, the following citizens were arrested in flagrante delicto:
– EM, 26 years old, resident in Tirana, for the criminal offense “Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition”;
– E. Sh., 19 years old, resident in Tirana, for the criminal offenses “Possessing and manufacturing weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition” and “Manufacturing and selling narcotics.
Also, as part of this operation, citizen EH, 22 years old, resident in Tirana, was criminally prosecuted for the criminal offense of “Disobedience of crime”.
The police services, in the vicinity of TEG, have stopped the vehicle with driver EH and passengers E. M and E. Sh.
During the physical check of the citizen E. Sh., by the Police services, a firearm, pistol with comb and combat ammunition and a quantity of narcotic substance cannabis sativa were found and seized, as material evidence, from him, while the driver of the vehicle, citizen EH , did not report the crime.
Following the actions, during the inspection of the residence of the EM citizen, by the Police services, a pistol firearm, a Kalashnikov firearm, combs with military ammunition and a pair of binoculars were found and seized.
The materials were passed to the Prosecutor’s Office for further procedural actions.
