A 27-year-old Greek woman who provided hospitality management services in Dubai has been arrested in Greece for cocaine trafficking.
According to Protothema.gr, she lived with a 28-year-old man of Albanian origin, who allegedly sold all kinds of drugs on the famous island of Mykonos, from cocaine to cannabis and the hallucinogenic MDMA, which can also lead to death if mixed with alcohol.
According to the investigations, the 27-year-old woman is suspected of keeping the drug trafficking money, which her Albanian partner promoted to tourists. Together with them, a 35-year-old man from Israel was arrested, who had just bought 1.1 grams of cocaine for 200 euros.
The Narcotics Prosecution of the Coast Guard located the couple in the Tagou – Argyraina area and a search was made at the house where the traffickers lived.
There they found three packages of cannabis weighing 4.3 grams, one plastic package with three improvised nylon packages of cocaine with a gross weight of 6.6 grams, one plastic package with 5.4 grams of cocaine, three improvised nylon packages with MDMA, with one gross. They also found the amount of money of €21,740.00 and three mobile phones.
They also found a precise scale, 570 US dollars, 420.00 British pounds, 25 Canadian dollars, 115 UAE dirhams, 200 Albanian lek, 55 Australian dollars and 20.00 Swiss dollars.
The three arrested will be sent to the Siros prosecutor’s office today.
