The police arrested the citizens DK, 27 years old and DM, 30 years old, resident in Elbasan, because on 08.02.2022, in the neighborhood “Çlirim”, it is suspected that in cooperation with each other, they stole various equipment, worth 5000 euros, in the firm owned by the citizen KB, resident in Elbasan.
Meanwhile, the citizen P. Ç., 56 years old, the owner of a scrap point who cooperated with the two detained citizens, was arrested in flagrante delicto, buying the stolen equipment.
These citizens are suspected of having committed several other thefts. In cooperation with the Prosecution, the work continues for their clarification and legal documentation.
The materials were forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance in Elbasan, for further action, for the criminal offenses “Theft”, “Embezzlement of money or goods arising from the criminal offense or criminal activity” and “Concealment of income”.
