The court of Tirana has imposed the security measure “obligation to appear” for Astrit Cara and Besnik Balani, arrested after Monday’s protest.
The criminal offenses of incitement to hatred and humiliation of the symbols of the Republic are aggravated against them. Together with them, they were escorted to the police and six other persons, minors who were prosecuted after burning four national flags of Serbia during the protest on the boulevard “Dëshmorët e Kombit”, in front of the Prime Minister’s Office.
The images of a young man who had climbed the pole to get a flag and fell to the ground, were published on social networks by Prime Minister Rama with the caption: I am a traitor and this patriot? God save Albania from fools.
