Six people have fallen into the hands of the Shkodra police after setting up two cannabis cultivation warehouses. In addition, another environment was discovered that served for the production of plastic vases, an activity not registered with the tax authorities.
In the framework of the operation codenamed “Bushati”, the following citizens were arrested: Gj. V., 33 years old, KV, 21 years old, KN, 22 years old, PV, 56 years old, fourth resident in the village of Mnelë. Also arrested in flagrante delicto were 2 employees of OSHEE, citizen AK, 36 years old (head of the area) and CA, 25 years old (reader of the electric meter), resident in Bushat, for the criminal offense “Abuse of duty”, as not have ascertained illegal electricity connections in premises that had been adapted for the cultivation of narcotic plants by means of lamps, in the area they had under monitoring.
During the operation, two warehouses were discovered that the citizen Gj. V. had adapted them for the cultivation of narcotic plants in laboratory conditions by means of lamps, as well as a warehouse where plastic vases were produced, an activity not registered with the tax authorities.
From the control of warehouses and apartments were seized 100 kilograms of cannabis sativa, 0.5 liters of hashish oil, a pistol firearm with ammunition, electrical bases (lamps, electrical stabilizers used for cultivation of narcotic plants) and 187 plastic buckets used for cultivation of narcotic herbs.
In cooperation with the Prosecution, work continues on the full documentation of this criminal activity, identification and arrest of other persons involved in this criminal activity.
The materials were forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office of the Shkodra Judicial District, for further actions, for the criminal offenses “Cultivation of narcotic plants”, “Production and sale of narcotics”, “Illegal possession of weapons”, “Concealment of income”, “Exercising activity without license ”,“ Abuse of duty ”and“ Theft of electricity ”.
