The country has no shortage of grain, while importers say liberated contracts with Serbia and ships coming from abroad have increased stocks.
They held a meeting this Sunday with the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Frida Krifca, where the price of flour until April 10 was discussed.
“The good news is that we have markets open all over the world, so the markets have reopened and this gives us more room to buy if they are needed. The other good news is that consumer behavior has rebalanced, stabilized and so we have the opportunity to have a much more normal trade chain than the first panic that brought instability to the market“, Said Minister Krifca.
Romania, Hungary and Bulgaria have already reopened their markets.
Minister Krifca, as a member of the price monitoring board also met with importers of agricultural inputs in the country, where it was agreed on margins for the prices of urea, DAP, phosphate, nitrate, but the price of these products has not been made public.
