“I’ve seen Macron’s main document is the language, the rest is the framework. Bulgarian and Macedonian are very close languages and are understood with each other. The claims have been too great. Many are sensitive after Ukraine. We are talking about an iron curtain, we should not forget that the first Bulgaria did not hesitate for a day to establish and cut off the oil supply and the oil goes to Serbia from Bulgaria. This commitment can not so easily be unacceptable. The Albanian political forces are successful because we have managed to soften the tone of the Macedonian political factor. The argument we use against the citizens is that we all accept their identity, the battle of the Macedonians is right for their identity, but it has a way only in the EU, why what would Serbia be ?! We Albanians of the former Yugoslavia not only have a euphoric desire to live with Albania, but politics is like that. “Bulgarians have always had a positive approach.”he said.
The only positive result for Albania and Northern Macedonia at the European summit was the admission to the council table with observer status.
The two countries are again far from opening the first intergovernmental conference with the EU.
If in the past, countries like France or the Netherlands with their skepticism blocked the taking of other integration steps, from 2020 the protagonism of the blockade is led by Bulgaria.
