A loan office was robbed at noon today in Korça, while the police managed to identify and arrest in a short time within a few minutes the perpetrator of the theft.
It is learned that the perpetrator, BA citizen, 30 years old, committed the robbery under the threat of a toy pistol.
Sources suggest that the 30-year-old author took a sum of money and left quickly.
Meanwhile, the police seized the toy pistol used by the perpetrator as well as the amount of stolen money.
The police report states that:
Services of the Korça Police Commissariat, around 15:45, after receiving information that in the neighborhood no. 7, Korça, in an office which serves for lending, an unidentified citizen had entered, who by threatening with a tool apparently like a pistol, had taken a monetary value and then left quickly, organized the work for identification and his capture.
Thanks to the timely reaction, the siege of the area and the information received, it became possible to identify, locate, capture and arrest the suspected perpetrator, BA citizen, 30 years old, resident in the village of Vashtëmi, Maliq.
Also, the police services, during the physical control of the perpetrator, found a toy pistol and the amount of 5000 lek stolen.
The materials will be forwarded to the Korça Judicial District Prosecutor’s Office for further action.
