The footage shows the angry moments of an elderly nun tearing apart two models who were kissing on the street for photos of a gay magazine in Italy.
The unidentified nun in traditional white clothing was shocked as she walked past Serena de Ferrari and Briton Kyshan Wilson who were getting ready to film their gay kiss in an alley in Naples.
Separating the two girls from each other, the nun called out: “What are you doing like this? This is the work of the devil”, while the two girls laugh, having no idea what the old nun was talking about.
The two actresses play in the Italian telenovela called Mare Fuori, while they were shooting for the magazine ‘Not Yet’.
The nun criticized the group of cameramen and the two girls, as she made the cross and prayed to herself: “For Jesus, Joseph and Maria”.
Make-up artist Roberta Mastalia, who was at the scene, said: “We were in the Spanish quarter in Naples with the two models when suddenly the mother passed in front of us. She asked us if we had been to mass and we said ‘No’ but when she saw the two models about to kiss she ran to separate them.”
“At first we were a little surprised and took it as a joke, then we told the nun that they had to work and she slowly left.”
In recent years, the church has liberalized its behavior towards the ‘gay’ community, but many critics think that the promotion of LGBT groups is wrong and out of proportion to their percentage in the community.
