A case of macabre was discovered in Korça today where a mother put her newborn baby in a suitcase, where the child later died.
The baby was found lifeless in the apartment by the husband, who had arrived yesterday from emigration.
He told police that he had not returned home from emigration for more than a year and that the dead child was not his.
It is learned that the woman had mental problems while the couple have another 5-year-old child together. Meanwhile, the baby is undergoing forensic examination.
