Ukraine’s head of military intelligence says the war with Russia will reach a turning point by mid-August and end by the end of the year.
In an interview with Sky News, General Kyrylo Budanov also said that a coup to oust Vladimir Putin is already taking place in Russia and the Russian leader is seriously ill with cancer.
Budanov correctly predicted when the Russian invasion would occur when others in his government were publicly skeptical and now says he is confident in predicting its end.
“The breaking point will be in the second half of August. Most active combat actions will be completed by the end of this year. “As a result, we will renew Ukrainian power in all our lost territories, including Donbas and Crimea.” he said.
Russia’s tactics have not changed despite its eastward shift, he says, and Russia is suffering heavy losses.
He said he was not surprised by Russia’s obstacles in the war.
“We know everything about our enemy, we know about their plans, it is not as powerful as it seems,” said the intelligence chief.
