The voting process for the new chairman of the Democratic Party has been completed in several cities of the country and the counting has started.
In Gjirokastra 65 percent of voters participated, while in Lezha 900 members voted, in Kurbin 1188 voted and in Mirdita 480 members. The counting process has also started in Gjirokastra.
In Korça, meanwhile, there was a relatively low turnout and the counting of votes ended where Berisha received 484 votes, leaving far behind the other candidate Ibsen Elezin with 32 votes in total.
Devolli also ended with the counting of votes where Sali Berisha received 1082 votes while Ibsen Elezi 135 votes. The other 8 votes were declared invalid.
