Two young people lost their lives this Friday in Tirana, after their car sank in the Çekreza reservoir.
A 22-year-old boy and a 20-year-old girl are now being evacuated by forces at the scene.
The two victims were identified as Erjon Muça and Dorina Gjinaj. The victims are residents of the area and the first suspicions according to the information are that the event is an accident.
The serious incident was reported to the police this morning by the reservoir security guard.
Upon receiving the notification, Police services went to the scene along with the fire services.
At the same time, Renea’s pigeons went to the scene, to make it possible to get the vehicle out of the tank.
The investigative group is working to fully clarify the circumstances of the event.
