Two minors in Elbasan have been missing since April 30. The 14-year-old student of the 8th grade of the school “Jorgji Dilo” and the 13-year-old student of the 7th grade of the school “Qemal Haxhihasani” are suspected of having a sentimental relationship with each other of which the boy’s family was unaware while the family of the girl objected. This is suspected to be the reason that the juveniles left without an address.
The story of the student and teacher of the “Qemal Haxhihasani” school seems unbelievable, as the girl was a good student and had not shown any behavioral problems.
The children were seen selling phones and bicycles and went to Korr village where they were introduced as tourists. They spent the night in a house and the next day came to Tirana to ballet school. The taxi driver indicated that they said we would go to the student town to find work.
As of Monday, the children are suspected to be in Tirana without anyone’s care. Commissariat No. 1 in Tirana and the Elbasan police are working to find the juveniles and are appealing for anyone who sees them to call 112.
