The incumbent mayor of Shkodra, Voltana Ademi through a statement to the media has condemned the two explosions with tritol that occurred the day before in the city.
She said that the state of order and security is on alert, endangering the lives of ordinary citizens of Shkodra.
Excerpts from the Statement:
It is true, there are two events that have shaken the city, businesses and everyone’s safety. Such events weigh not only on the security but also on the image of our city, as it is the city of art, culture and brotherhood.
My request to all institutions is to immediately uncover everything that has happened and ensure maximum security. Our country has often had security breaches and this shows the lack of efficiency of professionalism. Therefore, today’s events make a strong call for public safety in Shkodra and in all cities of Albania.
Security footage is available and state police have the information. This year we have set an additional budget for security cameras, not only for such issues but also to provide security of daily life and maintenance events of public spaces.
I have no information about the processing that the police have done, as they possess the information professionally.
