The hearing for the former Minister Sajmir Tahiri is postponed in the Special Court of Appeals, while today the court hearing was expected to be held.
The court hearing was expected to start at 10:00, but everything changed due to the resignation yesterday of Daniela Shirka, judge of the Tahiri case.
Judge Florian Kalaja, from the Durrës Appeal, was delegated in her place. The latter, in a statement to the media, Judge Florian Kalaja said that he asked for time to get acquainted with the file.
It is learned that the next hearing will be held on January 17.
Recall that former Minister Tahiri was targeted by the judiciary in October 2017, after the Italian authorities cracked down on a structured criminal group in marijuana trafficking, led by the Habilaj brothers – relatives of Tahiri.
