The third round of talks between Ukraine and Russia in Belarus is over.
Russian officials have said they will discuss a ceasefire again to evacuate civilians.
Recall that the first round of talks was held on February 28 and the second on March 3 in Belarus.
Meanwhile, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba will meet in Antalya, Turkey on Thursday, according to the Russian Foreign Ministry, while it has not yet been confirmed by the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry.
The Ukrainian delegation preferred to reappear in practical military uniforms, while the Russian delegation in serious suits.
Ukrainian officials want to show that everyone has turned into soldiers to defend their country from Russian attack. They also ‘confess’ through dress, that they are practice, not having time to take care of their appearance, while dozens of their compatriots are being killed and thousands are leaving.
In the second round of talks, Russia and Ukraine agreed to establish humanitarian corridors for the evacuation of civilians and for the delivery of food and medicine.
Although a ceasefire was agreed upon to evacuate civilians, this did not happen.
In the first round, which took place in the Gomel region of Belarus, after five hours of talks, the delegations agreed to hold a second round of talks with the aim of achieving a ceasefire soon.
Vladimir Medinsky, an adviser to the Russian president, said they discussed all the items on the agenda one by one, stressing that, “They found some points that we can anticipate in common positions.”
The second meeting seemed to shake the thick ice created between the two countries, as the officials of both sides shook hands, but it is not known what will happen today and what decisions will be taken.
