The images show burnt houses in the village of Rivnopillya in the Chernhiv region, approximately 80 kilometers (about 50 miles) north of the capital, Kiev. In Chernihiv, a bridge over the Stryzhen River appears to have been destroyed, while residential buildings and a nearby factory appear to have been damaged. A Russian military convoy was also spotted on a nearby road.

Voting at the UN: The UN General Assembly voted with 141 votes in favor of the resolution supported by Albania, which condemns the Russian occupation of Ukraine “in the strongest possible terms.” The vote was 141 in favor and five against, with 35 other countries abstained. Serbia was one of the countries that voted in favor of the resolution.
Refugee wave: One million people have left Ukraine in just one week, according to UN figures.
