The Russian military reported today that it had carried out long-range missile attacks from the sea, at a training center for Ukrainian special operations forces in southern Ukraine.
Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said in a statement that the attack took place last night.
“On the evening of April 4, long-range high-precision weapons based near the city of Ochakiv destroyed a training center for the Ukrainian Special Operations Forces, which was used, among other things, to accommodate foreign mercenaries.” he said.
Konashenkov added that Russian forces fired precision-launched missiles from the air aimed at fuel storage facilities at four locations: in Kremenets, Cherkasy, Zaporizhzhia and Novomoskovsk.
Russian forces have been targeting fuel supply and storage facilities around Ukraine since the invasion.
