Erion Çela consumed the last coffee with his family, in a bar in the area of ”Don Bosco”, this Tuesday afternoon.
The 35-year-old was sitting with his brother, uncle and three other relatives, when someone got out of a black “Benz” and started firing bullets at them.
The perpetrator shot outside the bar towards a table where four young people were consuming coffee, the victim Erion Çela and three of his relatives, brother, uncle and a pregnant woman.
46-year-old Arben Dani, the victim’s brother, 28-year-old Blerim Çela and the victim’s uncle 41-year-old Edmond Crroj were injured. Unlucky was the waiter, who was serving the only table located in the bar. 19-year-old Azbi Selimaj was injured in the shoulder, but fortunately is in hospital, out of danger for life. The pregnant woman escaped unharmed.
Police and the investigative team have cordoned off the crime scene to learn more about the gruesome event, while the main clues are suspected to be the disruption of drug deals.
The area where the serious incident took place is among the most populated in the capital. Several witnesses, mostly locals, were questioned while security cameras were seized.
Meanwhile, checkpoints have been set up at all entry-exit points of Tirana and inside the neighborhoods where it is suspected that the persons left, who after firing with firearms, left with a car with stolen license plates, belonging to a “Smart” type vehicle.
