Currently Omicron is widespread throughout Albania, but the highest rates of infection have pediatric age groups 0 to 14 years.
Unlike adults Omicron and Delta has increased the number of pediatric ages seeking treatment in hospitals. From the laboratory data, according to Rovena Daja, Omicron is predominant in our country, although Delta is also circulating.
But Daja emphasizes that in two weeks in Albania is expected to calm down.
