In July, work will begin on 7 educational buildings in the municipality of Tirana, 4 of which will be built from scratch while the rest will be reconstructed.
The buildings will be rebuilt and reconstructed due to the damage caused by the November 2019 earthquake.
“From the beginning, Emin Duraku, Musine Kokalari, Asim Vokshi’s gym and Xezmi Delli will be built. Reconstruction for kindergarten 41, 26 November and Myslim Keta. The works will start at the end of July, as we expect the approval of the permits next week. The reconstruction and reconstruction will take place due to the damages of the earthquake of November 2019”said Flavia Furriku, Head of the Project Implementation Sector.
The school works are expected to be completed within 10 months and will provide greater capacity and better conditions for students.
The educational facilities are according to European standards, with larger capacities, including the heating system, gymnasiums, libraries, etc.
During weekends in summer, when the flow of cars decreases, the Municipality of Tirana has authorized the permission of heavy tonnage vehicles from 18:00 to 07:00 to complete the works in the open construction sites in the capital.
In September, 12 schools are expected to open, while in the last 7 years, 50-60 schools have been added to Tirana.
