The Assembly convened by the leader of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, has started at the Palace of Congresses in Tirana.
The latter was greeted with applause from his supporters.
After the certification of the delegates, the latter headed to the meeting room.
The agenda concerns decision-making on the political situation, as well as taking measures to protect the interest of the Democratic Party.

Also a key point is the approval of political action for the future of the Democratic Party and the proclamation of the Civic Platform for Democracy.
At the end, the approval of the organizational program of the Democratic Party is expected, to prepare the structure of the party for the next elections.
Meanwhile, all Basha supporters are positioned outside the Palace.
They hold in their hands a banner that reads “they choose the future”.
In the Assembly, decisions are expected to be made on the latest developments within the party and as a response to the Assembly convened by former Prime Minister Berisha. There are 15 committees divided by counties and a special committee for the deputies and the National Council.
