The Municipality of Tirana restores restrictive measures for heavy tonnage vehicles in the capital. Through an instruction aimed at disciplining traffic at the beginning of 2022, especially in the early hours of the morning, when children go to school, the Municipality of Tirana announces that it has decided to stop the circulation of heavy vehicles inside the Small Ring Road. of the city from 07:00 in the morning until 20:00 in the evening.
Also, according to the order, the circulation of all means of transport of goods is prohibited from 07:00 to 09:00, as well as vehicles with a total load of over 3.5 tons from 09:00 to 20:00 in The Middle Ring of the city, inside it, as well as in the main entrance axes, including the streets “Sulejman Delvina”, “Abdyl Frasheri”, “Ismail Qemali”, “Rruga e Elbasanit” and Boulevard “Bajram Curri”. Commercial entities will carry out their supply activity from 20:00 to 07:00 in the morning, while vehicles up to 3.5 tons from 09:00 to 20:00, according to the established signage.
According to this instruction, the circulation of vehicles with a total load over 18 tons is prohibited inside the Great Ring of the city, as well as in the main entrance axes from 06:00 to 20:00.
Measures are taken to regulate the circulation of vehicles and facilitate movement for parents who take their children to school in the morning.
