Mehmet Prishtina, the grandson of the national hero, says that with the installation of the statue of Hasan Prishtina in Vlora, he has fulfilled in this way his will to rest in the homeland.
While welcoming the erection of the monument of Hasan Prishtina in Vlora, the authorities arrived from Kosovo, such as Mayor Leli, who see the erection of the monument in Vlora as symbolic that the national hero did not belong only to Kosovo, but to all of Albania.
The bust of Hasan Prishtina is placed near the palace of culture Labëria in Vlora while in front is the bust of the wise old man of independence Ismail Qemali as a symbol of national unity.
