A model known on social media as “Kim Kardashian of Ukraine” has been targeted by Russian mockers who mock her appearance and surgery amid recent political clashes between the two nations.
Alena Omovych, 27, says she has undergone seven breast augmentation surgeries, buttocks and many other aspects, with which she has reached more than 1.6 million followers on social networks.
But cosmetic interventions have caused laughter on the other side of the border for whom the model is a “video game face for fools.”
Having been a model since she was 14, the frequent changes to Omovych’s appearance have been in the public eye for more than a decade.
The recent escalation of tensions on the border between Russia and Ukraine has increased posts of ridicule and hatred towards it.
Well-known Russian commentator Lena Miro wrote: “Once Omovych was a beautiful girl, but following certain values she has turned into a scary character who seems to have emerged from a book of humorous tales.”
“Here we have the silicone breasts, the stitched backs, the legs like sticks or the cut nose.”
She “is not a girl but a computer game character for fools.”
Another critic from the neighboring country wrote: “Her breasts have doubled in size, although some may like it, but the implants on the back are a nightmare. What will be next? ”
“Maybe a third chest between the two?”
Another dissatisfied person also commented: “I am horrified when I think about how you might look when you reach 50 years old. You used to be beautiful. ”
While posting during her trip to Dubai, Omovych says she does not respond to “negative” comments from Russia and insists she is happy with her appearance.
“Yes, I did plastic surgery, I have the hospital as my second home, once I even celebrated my birthday there”, the model wrote.
She adds that her partner also accepts the forms obtained, as well as denied reports that he had left.
Critics continued with suggestions: “You have to sue the plastic surgeon who took you. “Anyone who persuaded you to change was wrong.”
The Lviv-born model says she has undergone several surgeries for breast augmentation, lips, jaw and various injections.
But despite the negativity from Russia she still had admirers who did not spare compliments.
