Vetëvendosje Movement MP, Arbër Rexhaj, says for KosovaPress, that the German Chancellor should say “enough is enough” and liberalize visas for the citizens of Kosovo, at the meeting of the EU Council of Ministers at the end of June.
Rexhaj also seeks support from the European leader for membership in the Council of Europe and dialogue with Serbia.
“I hope the German Chancellor will say the same phrase because Kosovo has long met the conditions required for visa liberalization and this issue has been prolonged. We are in the last stages when the countries of the European Union have to say yes to entering this stage… Add here we who have applied for the Council of Europe and as can be seen through the lobbying and statements of the presidents and prime ministers of Europe we have support for membership in this organization… We are for an agreement, for a recognition at the center as emphasized by Prime Minister Kurti, but we are not to defunctionalize the state of Kosovo “, he says.

Chancellor Scholz’s office did not explicitly confirm the visit to Kosovo for KosovaPress, but reiterated a statement by the European leader that before the next meeting of the EU Council he will pay a visit to the Western Balkans.
