“The last game”, 2 people are arrested and 2 others are prosecuted in Lezha. Here is what they are accused of

The police operation codenamed “Last Game”, developed by the Lezha Police Commissariat, is finalized.

Kalashnikov firearms, ammunition, ammunition boosters and mobile phones used to carry out illegal gambling activities were seized.

2 citizens are handcuffed and 2 others are prosecuted.

The services of the Lezha Police Commissariat, following the work to prevent, identify and crack down on illegality, based on the information provided on the operational road that in the village of Shënkolë, in the bar of the citizen NB, illegal gambling activity was exercised, as and the persons who frequented this environment, carrying illegal items with them, organized the work by finalizing the police operation codenamed “Last Game”.

In the framework of this operation, the following citizens were arrested in flagrante delicto: OH, 17 years old and AM, 18 years old, resident in Shënkolë, Lezha, and the citizen FP and the owner of the restaurant, citizen NB, were prosecuted.

Citizens OH and FP (clients in the bar), during the control exercised by the Police services, were found, on their mobile phones, sports lottery pages, while the citizens AM, were found a fist booster that meets the conditions of the weapon of cold, which were seized as material evidence.

Following the operation, a search was conducted in the apartment of the citizen OH, in Shënkollë, Lezha, where the Police services found and seized, as material evidence, a Kalashnikov firearm and a quantity of ammunition.

The investigative materials were referred to the Lezha Judicial District Prosecutor’s Office, for further actions, for the criminal offenses “Illegal possession of weapons”, “Unauthorized production, possession and sale of cold steel” and “Organization of illegal lotteries” and “Putting in availability of premises for illegal games “
