All children under the age of 18 can no longer cross the Kosovo-Montenegro border only with a birth certificate. This decision, which has already entered into force, was announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora on July 5.
“The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications informs all citizens of the Republic of Kosovo that even children under the age of 18 must be equipped with a valid travel document to cross the border in Montenegro,” the announcement states.
Montenegro has suspended the previous decision according to which children under the age of 18 from the Republic of Kosovo were allowed to cross the border only with a birth certificate.
“The decision on the entry into Montenegro of all citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, including minors, only with valid travel documents, is already in force”, announces the MPDJ.
