The High Council of the Prosecution accepted today the request of the High Inspector of Justice for disciplinary proceedings with the measure “dismissal from duty”, for the magistrate Shkëlqim Kokona, of the prosecution at the Court of First Instance Pogradec for serious professional violations that discredit the position and image of the prosecutor. The disciplinary investigation against the magistrate Kokona has started after an information of the General Prosecutor for procedural violations during the investigative activity, representation of the criminal prosecution in the trial, as well as for violations of ethical norms.
