The bridge of Ferras village, part of the road segment of the Fier bypass has been damaged after some persons identified by the police have stolen bars in its structure.
The Albanian Road Authority, in a public reaction, condemns this event and says that “it will not tolerate any such case and together with other law enforcement institutions will seek punishment by force of law for any abuser, also immediately taken all measures for the repair of this damage by returning to normal the condition of the bridge ”.
The arrested persons have detached metal parts from the bridge to sell them for scrap.
Further, the Albanian Road Authority calls on all citizens to report any abusive case, to enable timely response and measures to have no problems on road axes.
