In the session, the government decided to forward the proposal of the negotiating framework to the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia for consideration and approval of further conclusions, according to the procedures of the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia.
Albanian parties and the majority support the French proposal, while VMRO-DPMNE opponents demand the text be changed to guarantee the preservation of Macedonian identity, including language and history, while accusing the government of accepting a compromise harmful to the country.
