Interview with Erilda Hoxha, Marketing and Public Relations Director at Porsche Albania
Every battery is lit towards electric transport and it looks like this race will be won by that brand which will dominate the market in the premium segment. Porsche Albania has entered the competition first through the premium brand it represents, Audi.
Recently, in an interview with local media, the General Manager of Porsche Albania, Mr. Gentian Bushati, unveiled some of the pillars of Audi’s global strategy, which is being implemented locally in Albania.
Mr. Bushati said that, although internal combustion engines remain an important part of Audit adn, now the iconic world brand has decided to invest in full power in electric models. According to Bushati, this investment looks beyond the current market supply and aims at long-term compliance with European Union processes, providing human capabilities and capacities in the service sector for electric cars and developing the necessary charging infrastructure.
At the end of his interview, Mr. Bushati invited all interested parties to get acquainted with the premium future of electric transport, through the visualization that Porsche Albania provides in the center of Tirana, for 7 days in a row, on the premises of the artistic installation “New”, where the audience will see for the first time in Albania the electric model Audi e-tron.
From the first days this event offered a fantastic audio-visual show, but also some new questions, which we decided to address to the Director of Marketing and Public Relations at Porsche Albania, Erilda Hoxha.
Mrs. Hoxha, how does Audi’s electric future translate into sales strategy in Albania? Is the Albanian market ready for this premium standard?
Hoxha: The electric future that the Audi brand proposes to world transport is not a final stage, but a vision and an attitude that we take for the future of the environment and the sustainability of our living. Electric transport in each of its links represents cost reduction for customers. In this sense, of course, the Albanian market is ready. Added here, our sales staffs are aiming to focus shares on what we consider Human Centering. The digitization of the entire customer journey will become the most important distinguishing feature for us. A comprehensive customer experience, both online and offline is critical. We are aware that customers expect seamless connectivity across all contact and information channels.
Why Audi e-tron and why exactly in an artistic installation like “New”?
Hoxha: Audi e-tron represents the best embodiment and visualization of the new Audit strategy globally, but also in Albania. In connection with the event, we relied on the concept of the cloud as the carrier of the largest natural electric charge. So we decided, in a sense, to shoot the “lightning” at “Reja”, positioning the Audi e-tron for a full 7 days on the installation premises, under the framework of an audio-visual festival carefully curated by our staff and in partnership with Reja.al
In the following we have selected 100 Audi People, who we believe belong to the target and the premium philosophy of the brand. The selected ones will be presented in an innovative and different way, through a dedicated letter and a hologram box.
What are the expectations of Porsche Albania with premium electric transport in Albania?
Hoxha: Within 5 years, over 40% of the portfolio of Audi models will be electric, thus positioning itself as the only brand and No.1 premium in Albania. Porsche Albania through Audi will launch only this year 3 electric models, such as e-tron Sportback, Q4 e-tron, e-tron GT. As you can understand the e-future is electrifying; the premium e-future is Audi.
