American actress Koo Stark once seemed like the perfect partner for Prince Andrew as their acquaintance was organized by friends in the form of “enigmatic meeting” and then drank tea with the queen.
But it was later learned that the woman had played nude roles in a feature film in the late 1970s and the pressure on the couple increased so much that they separated.
The couple had met in a meeting organized by their friends without knowing each other’s identity in 1981, when the actress was 24 years old while the prince was 21.
Koo, whose real name is Kathleen, had also had a small role in the popular ‘Star Wars’ series as the girlfriend of the character Luke Skywalker.
Koo says later that they were liked soon after the first meeting.
“He came into my life and quickly became my life,” she recalled in 2015.
Andrew had then introduced him to his mother the queen who liked her son’s girlfriend and had invited him several times for tea.
But their relationship began to strain after the publication of Koo nude photos from a 1976 short feature film called Emily, where she also appeared in a lesbian erotic scene.
The actress then says that the late Princess Diana had come to her aid with advice on royal life.
“Diana was concerned, loving and supportive,” Stark wrote. “She herself was under stress, even though she was behind the security of the palace gates.
As media interest in the couple continued, Andrew had prayed for help from the royal palace, but the pressure increased and the couple separated after 18 months together.
After the separation she married photographer Tim Jeffries in 1984, but the couple separated a year later.
While Prince Andrew was married to Sarah Ferguson in 1986, to separate six years later in 1992.
In recent allegations against the prince, she says Andrew is essentially a “good man”.
But Virginia Roberts accuses him of having sex with her three times when she was under 18, and under the tutelage of the infamous sex trafficking and pedophilia network of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.
The prince denies the allegations but recently the royal palace has removed official and military titles from the case.
