A car was completely burnt in Llogora this afternoon, after it caught fire while driving on the road.
The incident happened around 5:15 p.m., when the vehicle driven by a citizen with the initials KD, from Kosovo, caught fire. According to preliminary examinations, it is suspected that the cause was a technical defect in the vehicle, but investigations are expected to clarify the incident.
The flames also threatened the park of Llogora. For this reason, the firefighters were ordered to take measures and wet the surface around the burning car to avoid the creation of fire foci in the forest.
