The General Maritime Directorate has just confirmed that the captaincy of the port of Brindisi has allowed the launch of the line ferry to the port of Vlora.
According to communications with the Italian port, the Vlora line will depart tonight and on Friday morning is expected to arrive at the port of Vlora. In poor maritime conditions, the cruise time of the ferry is predicted to be longer than usual. Meanwhile, our maritime authorities, depending on the weather conditions, will set the departure time of the ferry from Vlora to Brindisi.
After 22.00 on Friday, the marine atmospheric conditions are expected to improve by returning the cruises on the Durrës-Bari line and vice versa.
The last two nights the voyages on this line were canceled bringing not a few problems for passengers and entities transporting goods by truck to Italy via ferries. Some of them are goods that should be stored in refrigerated conditions.
