Dozens of employees of a call center for commercial purposes have protested today against the closure of the branch in Durres.
The employees have been informed by the employer that the Durrës branch will be closed and that they must be transferred to Tirana if they want to continue working. Outraged by this situation that has called into question the monthly income with which these employees support their families, the protesters demand the intervention of the government for this collective dismissal that breaks the contract concluded with the employer and violates their rights.
The transfer to Tirana, according to them, is unacceptable as the numerous time and financial costs it brings must be covered with the same salary that is lower than that of Tirana operators.
These employees have signed an indefinite contract 11 months ago with the company, but still less than a year later they risk going out on the street.
