“The Bar Associations of Lezha and Shkodra have declared a strike and no lawyer will participate in the court hearings on June 20, 21, 22, 23 and 24 in both instances.
The customers and the public opinion of these areas should understand and support us, because only a resistance today would guarantee service to them in the future.
We are sacrificing against the closure of the Courts Tropoja, Puka, Kurbin, Kruja; against the closure of the Administrative Court of First Instance Shkodra (the only one in the North area); against the closure of the Shkodra Court of Appeal (the only appellate court in the North); against the closure of the Court Kurbin, Tropoja, Puka.
This madness of the government to remove any vital services from these areas is a discriminatory and depopulating policy that should arouse everyone’s attention, regardless of political beliefs. Support us with nationwide protests in order to prevent this folly to the detriment of our communities. Today, tomorrow will be late!“, according to them.
