A Ukrainian family showed today ‘live’ for the show “Invitation to 5” how they are facing the war in Ukraine.
Dasha and Jevgeni, together with the children are locked in a place that they think is safe and do not go outside, because as they say the bombing starts at five in the morning and continues throughout the day.
“In the last two days, the bombings have increased. Starting at 5 a.m., bomb regularly. The state building, the secret service building, was hit. The most horrible thing is that they are hitting the buildings where people live. The building next to us was also bombed“, Says Jevgeni.
Dasha shows how difficult it is to leave the country, while food reserves may run out, as the war continues:
“It is very difficult to leave. Trains are overcrowded, men can not ride there, there are only women, children and the elderly. We have bread but it can mold. The water is running out too. We can boil it, but if we are also deprived of tap water, it will be very bad. Until the aerial bombardment is over, it is dangerous to get out. We are lucky to have a place to close “.
But how did they explain to the children the danger that threatens Ukraine and the Ukrainian people:
“They understand that it is the Russians who have attacked Ukraine. They too are going through it manfully. They love their homeland. We stay together all night, hand in hand, otherwise we would play mind. We are proud of our army. They are heroes and we will win”.
