The Albanian National Olympic Committee has held its regular general assembly where there have been a number of issues to vote on. Among them the most important were some changes in the statute, the establishment of the Albanian KAS, the sports arbitration court and the filling of some vacancies in the executive committee.
Exactly the changes in the statute, the audit report and the way of setting up KAS have been the controversial points in the hall by the representative of the Albanian Football Federation who was the new chairman of the executive committee Envi Icka. However, today’s assembly according to the agenda clarified by the president of KOKSH Fidel Ylli had no point of discussion but only approval.
“I lead an assembly but it does not set its rules. There are some rules that every federation has to meet, I have to pay the membership fee, I have to bring the list of activities, I have to bring the court decision and accreditation. If a federation does not bring these there can be no chance of even discussing it, inside. But there was a tendency, just to make a noise to say what was going on there.
