The elections for the new head of the ALF were scheduled to be held on March 2, but the Court of Tirana suspended the race until the review of the lawsuits of the Regional Associations for manipulation of the process, more specifically of the association of Durrës, Gjirokastra and Shkodra. . Armand Duka convened the Assembly again and decided again this time in violation of the law that the process be held on March 15.
The court of Tirana warned that if the leaders of the ALF would continue with the election process contrary to the security measure it has provided, the violators will be sentenced to prison which according to the criminal code goes up to 3 years in prison.
